You have been contacted by the PRF (Polícia Rodoviária Federal) to serve as a consultant in order to determine the XXX
When the police arrived at the scene, XXX. Unfortunately, the man did not survive. Initial investigation suggests that it was a suicide attempt, as the man crossed the highway at night
The police collected testimony of the people involved in the accident.

Witness: It's hard to say whether he was faster than the speed limit, but I do remember turning my head to see the car whose engine I could hear. Do you know that acceleration sound, when someone was stepping on the gas pedal? That is exactly what I heard. Police officer: Could that be another can on the road, ma'am? Witness: "I mean, it could, but I think it was his car. I'm not 100% sure, but I am almost certain."
The driver
Elderly man, ... He was accompanied to the station by his wife, who was not present at the incident.
I am terribly sorry about him, but he just jumped in front of my car. As soon as he appeared in front of me, I hit the breaks. I didn't have time to react, I swear to God! I am a good citizen, pay my taxes, serve my community. It was a misfortune, I think he wanted to hurt himself, it is not my fault, I swear to God!
The driver
Male, 28 years old, recently divorced and with a diagnosed mental disorder. His ex wife was at the station, mentioned that he was a recovering drug addict (which, according to her, was the reason of the divorce). She was emotional, said her ex-husband was a completely different man only a few years ago.

Your tasks
There is some suspicion as to whether the driver was going above the speed limit. However, determining the speed that the car was going is fundamental to the investigation.
You're possibly incriminating a person, therefore be careful. Make sure all your reasoning is precise.
- Build a report (to be delivered to the PRF) stating your name, consulting company and all of your company's data
- A short description of the incident
- Detail how your investigation will be conducted (and why they are relevant), starting with the tests on the track
- Describe the method you will use and build a calculation memorial
- Answer the question: was the driver above the speed limit?
- Add any visual representation, model or anything else that you might see fit
